National Sales Manager
A National Sales Manager opportunity has arisen to support the Director of Materials Testing with driving the growth and success of our laboratories.
You will be remote based and will be required to travel to clients, site and office locations throughout the UK.
Summary
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales efforts within the UK market, leveraging your relationships and industry knowledge to establish our brand as a trusted provider of construction materials testing solutions. With your strong sales acumen and strategic thinking, you will execute the sales strategy set out by the business Director, ensuring that our services are effectively positioned and promoted to meet the needs of our target clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving Sales Targets: You are responsible for meeting and surpassing sales targets set for the UK market.
- Building and Maintaining Client Relationships: You are responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with clients in the construction industry.
- Pricing strategy: You will be accountable for managing price adjustments. You will closely monitor market trends, economic indicators, and inflation rates to assess the impact on costs and pricing.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: You are accountable for generating accurate and timely sales reports, including performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Good technical understanding of geotechnical / construction materials tests in laboratory and field environments
- Excellent working knowledge of the construction materials testing market
- Excellent communication and networking skills, both written and verbal
- Good understanding of commercial risks and the technical aspects and nuances of differing client projects
- Good understanding of laboratory standards and testing accreditations ISO 17025 / UKAS etc

Hours:: Full time 40 hours per week
Salary: Competitive (dependant on skill, knowledge and experience) + commission + company car or allowance
