Join Our Team: Estimator - Specialist Drilling
Location: Warrington, Chester le Street or Daventry | Travel Required
Salary: £38,000 per annum + Company Car Allowance

We are seeking an Estimator to join our Specialist Drilling division at Igne. You’ll support the preparation of accurate, competitive, and compliant tenders and cost estimates across a range of projects including borehole drilling, water systems, and pump installations. Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality drilling and water system projects? 

We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop shop for pre- and post-construction services, Igne’s six service categories are: ground investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, specialist drilling, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing tender submissions, cost estimates, and budgets

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documentation to understand scope and requirements

• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness

• Support the preparation of bills of quantities, schedules, and cost breakdowns

• Maintain estimating databases, cost libraries, and historical pricing records

• Assist with risk analysis and identify key commercial considerations

• Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client briefings as required

• Liaise with internal teams including engineering, operations, procurement, and finance to gather relevant input

• Support post-tender negotiations and handover to project delivery teams

• Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills 

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills 

• Excellent time management and organisational ability 

• Experience using Microsoft Project 

• Relevant professional qualifications 

• Full valid UK driving licence 

Salary & Benefits:
