Do you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions? We are looking for a motivated Assistant Utility Surveyor to join our busy Surveys Department at Igne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn on the job and gain hands on experience. If you have a full UK driving licence and are comfortable working away from home, we would welcome your application. Full training will be provided.

A one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services. Inge’s six service categories are: site investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, water wells, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain vehicles and equipment before and after site visits
• Set up and operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, EML, and GPR under the guidance of surveyors
• Ensure all quality control procedures are consistently followed on site
• Load and unload survey equipment, keeping accurate records and submitting daily site sheets
• Support post-processing of survey data and help compile survey reports and AutoCAD drawings
• Contribute to marketing efforts by sharing images, text, and updates of your work

What We’re Looking For:

• Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) and/or 2 A levels
• Enthusiasm to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable working away from home
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
