Location: Gillingham, Kent | Hybrid Working | Part-time | UK Travel Required
Are you an experienced HR Administrator with a sharp commercial mindset and a passion for people? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our small, dynamic team at Igne. You will play a key role in supporting both colleagues and the wider business by delivering high-quality administrative support across the HR and payroll functions. This is a part-time role, working approximately 24-30 hours each week, ideally over 5 days (4 days minimum).
We are Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. A one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services. Igne’s six service categories are: site investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, water wells, geothermal, and geo-environmental.

Key responsibilities:
· Be a key point of contact for employees and managers, in person, over the phone, and via email
· Maintain and update electronic employee files and our HR information system with accuracy and confidentiality
· Support the recruitment department with job offers and arranging interviews
· Assist in the coordination and delivery of induction and onboarding programmes
· Help facilitate learning and development across the business
· Provide administrative support with employee relations matters and queries
· Collaborate with payroll by supplying accurate and timely employee data
· Support a range of HR and payroll projects
· Contribute actively to broader HR strategy and improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience in an HR Administrator role
· Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong commercial awareness and a business-focused mindset
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
· A team player with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
· CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential)
Salary & Benefits
· £25,000 - £28,000 (FTE) depending on experience
