Engineering Technician
An opportunity as an Engineering Technician has arisen to support our Engineering Team. You will be based at our Hamilton Scotland location and will be required to travel to other office locations throughout the UK / work outdoors in all weathers and away from home. There may be a requirement to work weekends and nights, occasionally.
Responsibilities and Activities:
Compilation of underground and above ground utility drawings
Liaison with utility companies to maintain continuity and accuracy of data
Derivation of lateral route data from source information
Production of drawings for ground investigation reports
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential
CAD experience as well as good IT skills.
Ideally candidates will have experience with working with and using large databases.
Experience of developing and maintaining good relationships with external providers.
